Between June 2000 and April 2005, Moyle transferred to arts programming and acted variously as Creative Director for the BBC's arts department and as Commissioner for Creative Arts and Culture across the corporation's main four channels. In 2008, she left a permanent role at the BBC to work as a freelance for her own projects. She continues to work as a Director of the Hackney Empire

She is married to the television director and writer Richard Curson and has three children.
