Franke Wilmer is a Democratic Party
member of the Montana House of Representatives
, representing District 64 since 2007. Before first running for office in 2006, Wilmer was appointed to chair the Montana Human Rights Commission by Governor Schweitzer in 2005. She received both a PhD and Masters from the University of Maryland in 1990 and is currently a full professor of Political Science at Montana State University
