According to the RKD in 1629 he became a master in the Guild of St. Luke and from 1660-1666 he travelled to Rome, where he lived first with Karel van Mander III, in 1661-1662 with Hieronymus Galle
and in 1665-1666 with Lodewijk Snaijers.
Biography
