 in order to improve vegetable farming techniques. His work proved quite lucrative for the local economy. As a result, King Malabo (I) presented him with a 10 acres (40,468.6 m²) plot of land of which he was permitted use of by the Duke of Infantado. A house was built on this 10 acres (40,468.6 m²) lot that Alimama leased from a local businessman. He married a daughter of the Bubi tribal leader, King Malabo (I), with whom he bore children. His continued employment and success as a farmer in Moka allowed him to purchase a farm in Riaba were he and his family eventually settled.
