 which he entered the theatrical area. With his return to the homeland, he was educated with the theatrical critic which he governed, at the same time, he participated in poetry as well as writing theatrical works. He participated as an instructor with the company known as the Greek Theatrical Countil and the Actor Guild, he entered ardently with the trying transformation in acting.

In 1919 at the age of 29, he translated and acted Oedipus Rex which he left at the time with the Aimilios Veakis

 in the same role. In 1932, he became the first and the incomparable director of the National Theatre

 and he stocked with the big names in the theatrical community and the most famous persons of that time. As he was opened with several influences and the answers which he continuously experimented, he believed that the strength of the Greek theatre was founded in his direction and stayed in the preserver of the classical repertory, work which continued as his successors, Rontiris and Minotis.

He also wrote articles in the newspaper Proia and Politeia, today, the Fotos Politis Awards is named after him and awards the best directors.
