 was used primarily to land troops and supplies, but was found of limited capability as it needed a large landing area. If the landing area was restricted by obstacles, the landing run of the glider could be shortened by nose breaking rockets. Carl Bode led the first flight in the aircraft, which took only seven weeks to construct, aged 27.
