In 1983, Dr. Robinson won the Colonel Watson Award for the "greatest input into the educational society". He wrote several well-recognized books that have been published in many different languages around the world. Most notable titles include: School Learning: an introduction to educational psychology (1969), Volunteer Helpers in Elementary Schools (1971), Inquiry Training (1972), Rate and Ratio (1981), and Curriculum Development for Effective Instruction (1985).
