History

Emerson Fittipaldi is a legend within the racing world. His name will forever remain in the history of the sport. He is one of the brightest and most devoted stars of auto racing and one of the most outstanding talents of his generation.

Emerson Fittipaldi was crowned the youngest-ever Formula 1 World Champion in 1972 at the age of 25. His record went unbroken for 33 years.

Two years later in 1974, Fittipaldi won the Formula 1 again and secured the first world title for the famous McLaren team.

After a brilliant Formula 1 career, Fittipaldi conquered the world of Indy racing. He led seven of his 11 Indianapolis 500 races and twice ( in 1989 and 1993 ) won this premium motor-sport event. In the CART PPG Championship series, Fittipaldi enjoyed 22 victories, five of them notched up in 1989, the year he become CART Champion.
