Findlay Creek Village

Findlay Creek Village is a community within Ottawa, Ontario. It is located just south of the intersection of Leitrim Road
and Bank Street
.
There are currently approximately 1100 homes of mixed types (singles, townhomes, semis, and small condo buildings called Java units), with about 200 homes built each year. The two developers in the community are Tartan Homes and Tamarack Homes.
The Findlay Creek Community Association is the volunteer group representing the interest's of the community.
There are currently 3 neighborhood parks (Tiger Lily, Dragonfly, Butterfly Parks), with additional parks planned, including the Central Park, which is slated to begin construction in Fall 2011.
The Findlay Creek Commercial Complex is under construction and is to begin opening in early 2012.
An elementary public school is expected to be built in the community for September 2014.
