Features

FilesWire is the first notable Web-based P2P file-sharing client. Users are not required to download or install the FilesWire client; instead users start the FilesWire client directly in their browsers and can begin sharing content almost instantly. The most recent release of FilesWire is compatible with all modern java-enabled browsers and written in the Java programming language

Limitations

  • FilesWire does not currently provide multiple source downloads for a single resource. This means if a download is interrupted it most likely will not resume.
  • There also appear to be very few movie resources on the network.
