The Cans Festival takes over the whole village. Barns and basements change their normal uses to become cinema rooms. Other free activities are open to everybody.

The Festival is organized by the Cultural Association Arela and young people from O Porriño and Mos, and coordinated by the scriptwriter Alfonso Pato. Residents lend the showrooms and Chimpibuses, which are small tractors used as public transport during the Festival. “Chimpibuses” are small tractors used for the event. They move the audience and artists from one showroom to another, driven by the residents of Cans.

Four barns, three cellars, two old empty houses and two warehouses change for one evening to hold screens and projectors.
