FK Lemind Leskovac

History

It was founded in 1920s or 30s. The club changed its name several times. In one period it was called "Slon"- elephant in Serbian. After the WWII it was named Lemind- Leskovacka Metalna Industrija (Leskovac metal industry). Some of the biggest player of the club was Vladimir Nikolic or Vlatka as he was known among his friends and family. He played in his young days for Partizan (while schooling in Belgrade) and Ei-Nis. He died on 14 June 2004. He was also its coach in the 90s.
