History

Polotsk FC became known when team captured 2nd place after FC Homel in the Belarus Championship in 1928. But then polochans

 were without trophies even in Cup contests.
There were some problems in the club when country became independent in 1991. Up to 2004 team could have been in the minor and even regional leagues.
