Ezequiel "Equi" González (born July 10, 1980 in Rosario
) is an Argentine
football who plays for LDU Quito as a midfielder

Equi González has great technique, creative passing and high influence. His first UEFA Champions League
appearance (September 2004) was more than successful, as he scored two fantastic goals against Norwegian champions

Unfortunately, Gonzalez picked up a damaged cruciate ligament
during the friendly match Panathinaikos vs. Apollon Athinon (1-0). Due to this injury, he played only one match during the 2006-2007 season. Equi returned fit from his injury, against Apollon Kalamarias
(1-0) on January 6, 2008.
On June 27, 2008 he went back to Rosario Central. With the number 10 he made a good season. In the end of the season he went on a free transfer to Fluminense
to play the Brazilian League
