As of summer 2009, only short stretches of S10 near Szczecin and Toruń have been built (about 37 km (23 mi) in total), out of total planned length of 460 km (285.8 mi). As of December 2009, 56 km (34.8 mi) of road were built. According to current plans the bulk of this road will be built after 2020 but key stretches with high traffic densities may be built earlier.
