Everytime We Touch (album)
Encyclopedia
Sharon Mawer from Allmusic gave the album a mixed review and said the album's songs were for "dancing to" in a "club with lights flashing and people all around" but said that "after an hour of the same repetitive beat, one's senses can become a little jaded." Dom Passantino from Stylus Magazine
gave the album a C+ and said the album had "a lot of filler" and called "Everytime We Touch" unoriginal and said 'Miracle' "is the end result of a bunch of producers kicking back in the studio going “Hey... whatever happened to Lasgo? I think we could do a track like those guys, y’know?" He said the cover of Kim Wilde's 'Kids of America' was "fantastically pointless" and that it "removes the original’s cocaine paranoia and replaces it with some German guys going “la la la la la.” Ken Barnes of USA Today
, however, awarded the album 3 out of 4 stars and said that "you couldn't ask for a more insanely infectious concoction." Unlike Stylus Magazine, Barnes said the album's covers were "fairly boggling" and that they all "survive the alchemical transformation into the dance medium in [a] thrilling fashion."
