Some more extra curricular activities include Choir,Band,Football,Volleyball,Basketball,Knowledge Bowl,and Track. Choir and Band are classes that consists of music. The ECHO music program is mandatory for elementary and underclassmen. For High School it is just a credit class that is a option for them. Football is kind of new to ECHO. The ECHO Rockets Football team teaches boys how to become men, This team was formed in the 2008–2009 school year. Volleyball is also new to ECHO they also formed the same year as the Football team. Knowledge Bowl is a extra class that tests your knowledge in all sorts of subjects. They go on tournaments and competes against other schools around the region. Basketball is a sport that has been at Echo for awhile. ECHO Charter School does not have a gym that is big enough to host a basketball game, so they use another school's gym that is 4 miles from ECHO charter; that school is in Belview

E.C.H.O. Charter School has not always been a charter school. Before it became a charter school in the fall of 1997 it used to be a public school. Echo public school began in the town of Echo in 1926. Echo was paired with Wood Lake Public. Echo was approved to be a charter school on June 9, 1997. On September 2, 1997 E.C.H.O. Charter school opened their doors to 43 students 3 teachers and one office clerk.Today, Fourteen years later, ECHO opens the doors to 185 students 25 teachers 10 paras and 3 office clerks. E.C.H.O. Charter has come a long way since 1997 there are plans to build a new addition to the building that will consist of a gym,and some extra class rooms.Schools
E.C.H.O Charter School is a unique school. E.C.H.O stands for Every Child Has Opportunities, which seems to translate into every child has opportunity to be accepted. You will never feel unwanted or unaccepted at E.C.H.O. The teachers make you feel at home and loved. It is a small school but a school with a big heart! High school can be a very trying time in life, but when you are surrounded by people you love and a school that cares, it can make for a much better experience. Anybody who is having a hard time fitting in should come to E.C.H.O. ; you would be surprised by the warm and friendly atmosphere. A student came to E.C.H.O at the end of first quarter and said, “I have never met such nice and friendly people in my life.” You will always hear words like this coming from peoples’ mouths who have visited, worked, or attend E.C.H.O. Charter School. It is a wonderful school and hopefully will continue to grow.Extracurricular activities
Dinner Theater is one of the many extra curricular activities at Echo Charter School has to offer. The plays are always amazing and very funny. The food they serve at the shows is to die for. Chicken Alfredo, roast beef, stuffed chicken, boiled potatoes, gourmet rice, delicious bread, fresh salad, fancy cheese cakes, etc. are a few of the foods that have been enjoyed over the years. Everyone has a good time at this elegantly decorated affair. Kids even get practice at being waiters and waitresses.
