The Courier began in 1955 as Smoke Signals, a monthly bulletin published by the Indian Hills

The High Timber Times began publication in 1977 and established a Conifer-area office in the mid-1990s. The Clear Creek Courant began publication in 1984; the Columbine Courier, in 1991.
