Description
Many species are poorly known. The shells are small, mostly under 1 cm. They are somewhat glossy and show no sculpture except a few microscopic growth lines. This family was described by Peñas A. & Rolán E. in1997 and again in 2000 . Van Aartsen et al. gave in 1988 a stable nomenclature of the genusSpecies
