Rodgers replaced Ubaldo Jimenez after his trade to the Indians on July 30th. He allowed 1 run on 1 hit and 1 walk over those 5 innings of relief, lowering his season high ERA from 8.49 to 7.31, and took over the open rotation spot left by Ubaldo Jimenez.
