Eric Mun Jung Hyuk, mononymously credited as Eric, was born on 16 February 1979. He is a South Korean entertainer, known as the leader and rapper of six-member boy band

In early 2006, Eric was injuried on the set of MBC
drama Wolf, resulting in it being pulled off air after four episodes. Then in August he again played a tough unemployed man with an embarrassing sense of humour in Invincible Parachute Agent, which is similar to the Kang Ho character in Super Rookie.
Eric was the first Shinhwa member to serve his mandatory military service
in November 2008, on non-active duty eg public service worker, after under going four weeks of basic training. He was discharged on 30 October 2010.
He is the official producer for the girl group Stellar, which debuted in August 2011 with the song Rocket Girl.
