Rosemond placed 12th in the 1,000 m, after coming second in her heat and then being eliminated after finishing third in her quarter final. She came fifth in the heats of the 1,500 m and was eliminated. Rosemond also represented Australia in the 2009 UCI Melbourne World Cup in Track Cycling and won a silver medal in the Women's Team Sprint with teammate Kerrie Meares
