After a successful loan spell out the club it was announced on the 22 May 2009 that he had signed a permanent 1 year deal. Sinclair progressed through the 2009/10 season playing 42 games and scoring 7 goals. He signed a new two year contract expiring at the end of the 2011/12 season.
