Eleanor Davis is an American cartoonist
and illustrator who creates comic works and other art for both adolescent and adult audiences.
by comic enthusiast parents who exposed her to stories and styles such as Little Lulu, Crazy Cat, Little Nemo and the Kinder Kids. She attended Kino School from elementary school until she graduated from high school. It wasn't until high school, when she was introduced to the zine/mini-comics world of Alternative Comics by classmates, that she started to draw comics seriously. In high school she began to self-publish her own comic and soon after decided to attend Savannah College of Art and Design in Georgia to study sequential art. Eleanor's work began to get noticed for her original handmade die-cuts and coloring but was further helped by her diligent production of mini-comics, attending comic conventions, and creating a website for her work. Approached by numerous publishers interested in her comics, Eleanor has a contributed work to the anthologies MOME and Best American Comics. She has also published two children's books, The Secret Science Alliance and the Copycat Crook and Stinky, both children's graphic novels.
