Ramdani was born in Purwakarta, West Java. He joined the junior team of Persib Bandung, in the PS Union, in his teenage years. Eka Ramdani became part of Indonesia's national team at an early age. Eka played in the U-16 Asian Cup, ASEAN Cup U-19, Pre U-20 Asian Cup,Piala Sultan of Brunei U-21, the Pre Olympics in Athens and the Southeast Asian Games (U-23), and also in the national team dilakoni senior debut in a friendly match with South Africa.
