Video and pictures were taken showing him running to stop an armored police vehicle spraying water on the demonstrators, which he succeeded to stop its advance for few moments. The famous video of the situation, was taken by a journalist named Mostafa Fathi of Radio Horreyyetna (Our Freedom), in Egypt. He shot the video from the balcony of his office in the building overlooking Al-Qasr Al-Aini Street. It is worth mentioning that this street leads to the Tahrir Square. The pictures taken of the situation, and spread widely, was taken by a press photographer named Tarek Wajeh of Al Masry Al Youm newspaper, in Egypt..
