Ashworth engineered and mixed several of Sublime's albums: "Sublime," "Second Hand Smoke," "Stand by Your Van," and "Bradley Nowell Live Acoustic." In 2006, Ashworth was involved with the production of "Everything Under the Sun," a boxed set of alternate mixes and rarities. Sublime's third, self-titled album was certified 5 times platinum.

In MDIA 413, a national-level group (with Ashworth as their producer) is brought into the Ohio University recording studio. In January 2011, Ashworth was appointed to the Editorial Board of the Journal of the Art of Record Production (JARP).

The University of Guyana invited Ashworth to teach a week-long sound workshop in April 2011. The workshop was made possible through support by Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA).
