Plot

A man who believes he was a murderer in a past life, and that events from this past life are repeating themselves in the present.

Synopsis

Stephen has just moved into an old house, but he feels like he's been there before. He talks it over with his psychologist, along with his desire to become more than friends with Karen and his frustration with his inability to do so. He blacks out and sees another woman in the house who looks a lot like Karen and himself as another man. Through independent research and hypnosis, he discovers that the people he saw are from the 1920s who lived in the house, and he begins to think that they are the past lives of Karen and himself. Karen doesn't believe this, and thinks Stephen is crazy. After several incidents from the past repeat themselves, Maxwell takes over and tries to kill Karen, but she accidentally kills him, just as Zelda killed Maxwell in the 20s. The story ends with Zelda mournfully singing the song from the past.
