easylaughs is an international improvisational comedy group based in Amsterdam
, The Netherlands. It performs in English to audiences of up to 100 people every Friday in the Crea Muziekzaal at the Crea
, part of the University of Amsterdam in Central Amsterdam .
easylaughs has an enthusiastic following amongst the Amsterdam expat
community which is its target audience. easylaughs gives courses, weekly workshops and corporate training and entertainment. It is responsible for teaching improvisational comedy to a new generation of emerging players. easylaughs gives these new players opportunity for them to form their own groups and a place for them to perform. It is the only group in Amsterdam to provide an open workshop where anyone can turn up to practice or try their hand.
The group has received several great reviews including from Dutch newspaper, Het Parool
. It is the second longest-running English-language group in the Netherlands.

In 2006 several members of easylaughs, Ben Silburn, Jochem Meijer, Peter More and Aida Mussach
, formed a new group El Moustachios
which performed in the International Improvisation Theatre Festival in Amsterdam
that year and again in 2009.

History and Composition
easylaughs formed in 2003 by members of previous Amsterdam-based group Problem Solved, several of whom had also been in the improvised longform group, Blind Date. easylaughs' international cast has players from The Netherlands, US, UK and Australia. Current members include Ben SilburnBen Silburn
