Eastwick College and the HoHoKus Schools
Encyclopedia
Eastwick College and the HoHoKus Schools consists of five schools located in the northern New Jersey area, owned and operated by Eastwick Education.

History

Eastwick Education was founded in 1985, with the purchase of the HoHoKus School (now Eastwick College) in the town of Ramsey, NJ by Thomas M. Eastwick.

Eastwick expanded in the 1990s, opening the HoHoKus RETS/Nutley in 1995, the HoHoKus Hackensack School in 1996, and the HoHoKus School at Bergen Regional Medical Center in 1999. These additions expanded the schools' curriculum to include computer and electronics technology as well as additional medical and business programs.

In 2005 the HoHoKus School of Trade was established, bringing trade and construction programs to Eastwick.

In recent years, Eastwick College earned accreditation from the NJ Department of Education, earning the school its current name (previously HoHoKus School of Business and Medical Sciences), and allowing it to offer medical associate degrees. In 2007 the HoHoKus Hackensack School worked with Palisades Medical Center in North Bergen, to develop a bilingual Hispanic nursing program.
