Fire
On November 1, 2006 at approximately 2:20 PM, a fire broke out in a chemistry lab office. The school was severely damaged and was declared a total loss. All of the students were evacuated and there were no injuries; however, the building had to be demolished due to safety concerns. On December 7, 2006, it was reported that the cause of the fire was ruled as arson, and a $10,000 reward was being offered for information leading to the arrest of the person or persons responsible for setting the fire.
