It was built in 2001, incorporating the former Cherry, Silver, Central, and Claremont Schools into a single property. Because of the size of the building and the number of students, the building is divided into the primary (K-2) and intermediate (3-5) sides, each primarily administered by a principal; Suzanne Hahn for the former, Dan Cox for the latter.
The school offers athletic programs in basketball, volleyball, cheerleading, track, and cross country. The school mascot is the tiger cub.

East Richland Elementary School (ERES) is the grade K-5 school in the East Richland school district. According to the Superintendent's Report, the school encompasses 997 students between these six grade levels.It was built in 2001, incorporating the former Cherry, Silver, Central, and Claremont Schools into a single property.
