. Approximately 5,000 pupils are enrolled in the seven schools in grades K–12. After a hectic waiting period, the Board of Education appointed as superintendent Dr. Angela Guptill, who was preceded by the terminated Dr. Rebecca Furlong. Guptill was acting superintendent for the length of time when the Board of Education was looking for a replacement for Dr. Furlong. Instead of finding a superintendent elsewhere, the Board of Education decided to keep Dr. Guptill as superintendent.
