railway depot on the District Line
, located between Acton Town Station and Ealing Common Station
. It is accessed by road on Granville Gardens, off the Uxbridge Road in Ealing Common. From the main-line (District) it is accessed at Ealing Common
by a junction immediately to the East of the platforms. Trains can enter or leave the depot to/from either the Westbound or Eastbound tracks at Ealing Common
. It is also accessed at the Acton Town
end through a junction just to the West of Acton Town eastbound platforms. Trains can enter or leave the depot to/from either the local or fast eastbound platforms, however trains in either of the westbound platforms at Acton Town

Piccadilly line trains were stabled here until 1964. At the same time, the District line ceased stabling at Northfields.

However there is a separate yard to the North-East corner of the depot which is not used for normal day-to-day operations. This yard is now the yard of the London Transport Museum Depot, . It is still linked into depot by rail, however access is through a locked gate, for both rail vehicles and people. This yard is accessible by road, via a service road (known as Museum Way) off Gunnersbury Lane. This yard is where the D Stock trains were transferred to, via Ealing Common Depot. This is where they were then loaded onto low-loader truck
s to be taken away for refurbishment. The trains were also returned to LUL this way.
