Outeniqua Park in George, home base for the SWD Eagles, must be one of the most picturesque rugby grounds in the world. However, many visiting sides have left the Garden Route in the Southern Cape not noticing the pretty surroundings, as the Eagles has an uncanny ability to soar over their rivals at home. Districts have never won the Currie Cup in their over 110 year history. The team average's crowds of 12,000 to home matches.
