. After the turn of the century, Eagle Rock's Zip Code was changed with nearby Apex, NC's Zip Code. There has been a recient effort by people in the area of Eagle Rock to incorporate two square miles centered at the intersection of Eagle Rock road and Martin pond roads as an official town. Mayor Kelly Young is leading the efforts to make this happen.
