The funding round was led by Balderton Capital, one of Europe’s largest technology investors, with other major investors including Atlanta based TTV Capital, Patagorang, led by Mr. Roger Allen and Mr. Stanley S. Shuman of Allen & Co.

In 2011 eWise announced it had raised an additional $14 million and moved its headquarters to the US from Australia. Wellington Partners Venture Capital led eWise’s latest funding round with participation by previous investors including Balderton Capital, TTV Capital, and Patagorang. Wellington partner Alexandre Gonthier joined Alexander Grinberg, Roger Allen, Michael Kontorovich, Dharmash Mistry, Peter Rowley and W. Thomas Smith Jr on the eWise board of directors.
