ESP Mirage Series
Encyclopedia
The ESP LTD "M-series" short for Mirage, are superstrat style solid body electric guitars manufactured by ESP.

All except one of the M-series guitars are manufactured in Indonesia, with only the M-400 model being manufactured in Korea. All the guitars in the series have the same general layout with 1 tone control, 1 volume control and a 3 way pickup selector. The ESP Standard Mirages however are instead manufactured in Japan and are more upmarket guitars.

ESP LTD M-400

The M-400 features a Set-thru neck construction in a 25.5" scale with 24 extra jumbo frets. It also features a Rosewood Fretboard with Arrowhead inlays with the model name at the 12th fret. It has Grover tuners with a locking nut to help keep it in tune when there is excessive use of the Floyd Rose. The M-400 only comes in a black finish, this is also the only guitar of the series to be manufactured in Korea.
