EAH Housing is a nonprofit corporation which develops, manages, and operates high quality affordable housing for low-income families, older adults, and persons with disabilities in California and Hawai'i. It was founded in 1968.

History

EAH Housing was founded in 1968 to serve the housing needs of low-income families and elders living in Marin County, California

, and was originally named the Ecumenical Association for Housing. EAH now serves over 20,000 residents throughout California and Hawai'i.

EAH Housing manages 92 properties, with annual cash management of more than $95 million. EAH has developed 77 properties - 6,500 units including urban, rural, senior, multi-family, student, and special needs with an aggregate value of over $1 billion. EAH currently employs more than 400 people.

Honors

In December 2010 EAH Housing was recognized with an honorable mention by the California Sustainability Alliance's
Sustainability Showcase Awards. The honor commends EAH for their commitment to providing sustainable and affordable multifamily housing to 20,000 families, students, people with disabilities, and seniors.
