(congas). They are supported by regular Jazz Messenger members Lee Morgan
(trumpet), Bobby Timmons
(piano) and Jymie Merritt
(bass).
The second session is a two-track duet between Blakey and bassist Paul Chambers
, recorded at the Rudy Van Gelder Studio in Hackensack, NJ on 29 March 1959.
