In Marrone's first season, the Orange finished with 4 wins, which was one more than the previous year. However, in his second season, the Orange won 8 games. The 2010 season was highlighted with a victory over a Top-25 West Virginia Mountaineers
team and a victory in the first ever Pinstripe Bowl in New York City
