Plot

The only movie in Bollywood Cinema which made a record for the biggest hit without heroine. The breadwinner of the Gupta family "Mr. Gupta" passes away after a serious accident and his wife too kindly embraced death after that incident. Both of them leave a school-going son named Ramnath to fend for himself but he too is handicapped since he is knocked down and run over by a speeding car, losing the use of his left leg. Soon after the death of his parents, Ramnath is thrown out by the landlord on the outskirts of Bombay. Ramnath starves for a couple of days since he has no money but soon befriends a young man of his age. The young man's name is Mohan and is blind by an accident. The two friends roam on the streets of Bombay and soon shown some light to begin there new era of life. Ramnath gets admission in a school and Mohan steps out of his life so that he can study. Ramnath achieves success and Mohan meets with his sister "Meena". Both friends finally meet in the end.

The actors of the movie are Sudhir Kumar and Sushil Kumar alias Manu Mishra Gorakhpurwaala mutthal.
