" to describe a process of using muscle testing for detecting and correcting imbalances in the body; in May 2002 she granted unrestricted rights to use the term to the Energy Kinesiology Association. Donna also co-founded the nonprofit Energy Medicine Institute in Ashland, Oregon.

Eden's book Energy Medicine (revised edition) recently won in the self-help category of the US Book News 2008 National Best Books awards, while her book Energy Medicine for Women won in the women's health category.
Donna and David also co-authored Six Pillars of Energy Medicine: Clinical Strengths of a Complementary Paradigm, which was published in the journal Alternative Therapies in Health and Medicine.
