The goals of the Dominican Biblical Institute include:

  • to promote global dialogue, especially between the Bible and science with other disciplines, especially literature and science

Focus

The Dominican Biblical Institute offers classes for lay people, occasional lectures and collegiate modules throughout the year. The ultimate focus of the DBI is pastoral, engaging with surrounding communities: schools and colleges, church groups and the general public. The current director of the DBI is Thomas L. Brodie, O.P.
