 that was founded in 2000 by Bryan Suereth. In their first location, Disjecta held over 500 shows, showingcasing 3,000 artists and hosting 30,000 patrons. In 2008 Disjecta announced the public opening of their new 16,000 sf arts building at 8371 N Interstate in the historic Kenton neighborhood. The former bowling alley turned abandoned hydraulic shop houses five large, fully leased artist studios, along with 3,500 sf of visual exhibition space. To this end, Disjecta hosts a variety of performance art events in addition to visual and installation based art shows.
