Diego Gomes was born September 14, 1997, Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Gomes is a singer noted for winning the third season of The Next Star on YTV, a youth-entry reality singing competition aired on YTV. There was a rumor among fans that he and fellow Next Star contestant Mimoza Duot liked each other. Both denied this, though the other members of season three thought that they did. Currently, they remain good friends. Gomes is currently in the band "More Than Us" previously "Fallen Nitro". He let out his new single "Call my Name".

He lives in Toronto, Ontario with his mom and dad. Where his fame began on The Next Star.
He goes to Marshall Mcluhan Secondary School in Toronto.

Season 3 and wowed the judges, and made it pass the Top 12 and made it to the Top 6. He then bonded with Mimoza Duot and worked as partners which lead up the rumor they were dating, which they both denied. Later, at the finale it was he sang his single "My Best Friend's Girl" and it was announced he won. He made his new album "Call My Name" and performed it on The Next Star Season 4. In the Next Star he is a familiar face, and will likely make more guest apperances in the upcoming Season 5.
