After the first week of competition, Cano was dealing for 5 straight weeks being bottom 3 and was saved for 4 weeks until May 8 where she was against (Natassja Bolivar) and the other contestants decided to save Bolivar which led Cano to go to the judge where she had to be against (Jenny Arzola) and the judge decided to save Arzola, Cano was eliminated on May 8, 2011, landing her in 7th place in the competition. Although she did not win the grand prize, she won the 1st challenge of the week, earning herself and fellow winners a total of $10,000.
Diana holds a bachelor degree in Psychology, worked as a stockbroker since she was 23 years old. Studied acting at Lee Strasberg's Actors Studio.[11] works in New York City as a professional Model, Entrepreneur, and makes several special appearances at Ecuadorian festivals, parades, and Hispanic Heritage Events.
