Diana 2006 is the 11th album ( anida counted ) released by the Lebanese singer Diana Haddad
. The album came after almost 3 years of Diana not releasing studio album and was well-received by the critics and a commercial hit. In this album Diana Haddad has succeeded in attracting the western audience, especially with the hit "Mas woo louly", with the Algerian world singer Khaled
and it sold out 5.7 million copies worldwide to date. The album contains nine variety songs from classic and romantic to folklore. Diana Haddad has portrayed 6 songs:Hasafah, Mas and louly ,Aadi ,Zai Elsukar Awayeb Adema and Azab El Hawa..
Hasafah was the first single from this album , diana performed it at "Nojoom Al Khaleej 2005" the video was taken from the concert and directed by Sa'eed Mousa , it aired exclusively at Nojoom Music Channels
2.Mas w Louly ( ft.Khaled
)
Was the secomd single from the album, it was released 2 weeks before the release of the album ,from the very first day the song topped the charts in the midlle east, the song was awarded as Best Duet of the Year, Best Song of the Year , Best Video Clip of the Year.
The video Clip of the song was directed by Laila Kana'an , the shooting took place in Dubai ,UAE in an empty pool with a Band, showing diana, khaled and the Band performing with some effects
3.Zai El Sukar
was the third single to be released from the album,it was released at Eid Al Feter in 2006,the video was directed by yasser sami in Egypt, the shooting took 2 days, and the video shows Diana receiving a message from her lover telling her that he'll return after 4 days only, so she goes to the airport and during the 4 days she runs into several situations like a wedding, girl playing in the backyard, into the metro, two lovers, and the video shows Diana in 8 different looks.
4.Aadi
is the fourth single,the shooting took place in lebnon by Laila Kana'an in 2006 before Zai El Sukar but it was aired after it , the video shows diana telling a story of two lovers who got married and had one kid then the man cheats on his wife leading her to leave him
it also won the " best video clip of the year "
5.Awayed Adema
is the fifth single from the album the video was takan from diana's performance at the MBC'S talent show " Album Nojom AlARAB" in 2007
6.Azab El Hawa
the sixth and the last single from the album, it was released in 2008 and directed by diana's friend Nahla Al Fahad in UAE's desert in 1 day , the song received " best dance clip of the year "
