Diamond Bar High School was founded in 1982. Its first students came from Suzanne Middle School, Chaparral Middle School and Walnut High School. The first principal of the school was Walt Holmes.Advanced Placement Program

The International Baccalaureate (IB) Program is administered by the IB Organization. The program offers advanced level courses to students and offers students the opportunity to take IB Test in approved classes for college credit. Dena Lordi is the current IB coordinator.
