 franchise from 2002 until his firing on 28 February 2011. He played his schoolboy football in Dublin with the famous nursery Stella Maris Football Club. Has coached world-class goalkeepers including Tim Howard, before his move to Manchester United, and US full internationals Tony Meola and Jonny Walker. McAleenan also coached a boy's high school soccer team, in Newington, Connecticut.
